Hola! Knoxville Festival: A celebration of diversity and a cultural salute to our East Tennessee Hispanic/Latino community will take place in October, in Market Square. Known for its rich mix of music, dance, food, arts, and crafts, the festival also features the unique Parade of Nations. This visual treat highlights the varied and colorful costumes and music of Latin America. This year, musical performances will include Salsa, the music of the Andes and a Mariachi Trio. There will be many activities for the kids, including a "passport" to "travel" to Heritage Tables highlighting the natural and cultural wonders of Central and South America. The children will receive flag stickers to put on their passport. Come dance, eat, learn and have fun! ¡Les esperamos! more
