The Red Rose Sculpture Competition and Exhibition will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 17th, at Red Rose Park. A partnership of Avant Garde Center for the Arts and Olde English District Visitor Center and Artist Market, the exhibit will feature works by sculptors from throughout the southeast and will be held during the fifth annual Red Rose Festival. more

Join them in celebrating veterans on Saturday, November 10, 2012. The parade will start at the intersection of Main Street and Dunlap Street, continuing down Main Street and ending at the American Legion. Parking permitted where available. Memorial dedication at 10:30 a.m., parade begins at 12 p.m., and program begins at 1 p.m.
