Annual Family Day in the Park
Woodland Park
The Annual Family Day in the Park is from 2 to 4 p.m. at Woodland Park. The event is for pre-K through high school. Students will be able to receive school supplies. Three book scholarships will also be awarded to students with the best essay. Held in August.

Located in the Restored Historic Dixie Theater
The Ruston Community Theatre, North Central Louisiana Arts Council, and the Ruston Civic Symphony Society call the Dixie Center for the Arts home. This Performing Arts hall, used for live music, dance, and theatre performances and the showing of classic films, has 600 seats. The community center is available for public organizations to meet. The art gallery features work by local artists. more
