Roundez Vous des Cajuns
South Second Street and Park Avenue

This is not only the biggest attraction in Eunice, but one of the premier weekly events in South Louisiana. Every Saturday night at six, the old Liberty vaudeville theater plays host to the Roundez Vous des Cajuns, a two-hour show featuring Cajun and Zydeco bands, humorists, and cooks reciting their favorite recipes.

Located in Downtown Eunice
A traditional rural Mardi Gras festival. On Mardi Gras Day, which is always held the day before Ash Wednesday (usually February or March), Eunice holds a traditional Courir de Mardi Gras. Costumed participants ride on horseback and on flatbeds through the countryside. They parade along Second Street through downtown Eunice starting about 3 p.m. There is plenty of celebrating in which to join beginning on Saturday. more
