Every September, hundreds of fans come to Fairmount to attend the four day James Dean Festival and celebrate the life of the man who was taken too soon. The festival’s main attractions are the annual Museum Days and the James Dean Run. Other events include live music, a parade, showings of “East of Eden,” “Rebel Without a Cause,” and “The Giant,” a James Dean look alike contest, car show, and fashion shows. Held in September.
