Circa '21 is housed in the historic Fort Armstrong Theatre which originally opened in 1921 as a vaudeville and silent movie house. In 1976 the interior was remodeled into Las Vegas styled seating and currently seats 334 on the main floor. It now offers broadway musicals, dramas, comedies, mysteries, concerts, children’s productions and dinner, and has hosted celebrities such as Tony Bennett, Mickey Rooney, Phyllis Diller, Pat Boone, The Smothers Brothers, The Lettermen, Dennis Miller, and Roseanne. more

Centennial Park
The Celtic Highland Games, put on by the Celtic Cultures Alliance of the Quad Cities, takes place annually on the fourth Saturday in August. It feature athletic competitions, entertainment, food, vendors, storytelling, fun family crafts, seven-hole mini-golf, “just for fun” versions of the Highland Games, two living history villages, a Ceilidh (party), and animal attractions including sheep dog herding demonstrations, a shaggy haired Highland Cow, Clydesdales and more. more
